Paige & Zoe's Playdate

Paige has become very interested in her sisters, Rosie and Zoe. She watches them closely, trying to understand every move they make. The dogs are great with Paige, letting her pet them and play in their space. One day in particular, Paige was playing on our bed, which is where Zoe crashes for most of our waking moments (and sometimes sleeping moments too). I snapped a couple of pictures because it looked like they were playing together until Zoe went back to what was probably her seventh nap of the day.

Hey sister, do you want to play?
Look Mom, we're playing so nicely together.
Oh, you're tired already?
Ok, well, I guess I'll just entertain myself then.

First Family Vacation

To celebrate my first official Mother's Day, our third wedding anniversary, and an early Father's Day, Drew, Paige and I took our first family vacation to Kiawah, Island, SC. Paige loved the walks on the beach and her little toes in the sand. She took her first dip in the pool but wasn't entirely sold on the whole thing until the second time around. I think she was less interesed in the pool and more interested in the string on Drew's swim trunks. Unfortunately, Paige was a little out of her element while we were away and wasn't sleeping well so we decided to cut the trip a little short. Better luck next time, I guess. In the meantime, here are some pics.

7 Months!

It's so hard to believe how quickly time has flown by! As of May 3rd, Paige is seven months old. She's doing well, sitting on her own, making a couple attempts at crawling, and enjoying her fruits and veggies. She is really at a fun stage; toys are becoming more interesting to her, she's developing her own little personality, and a silly look from Daddy can make her giggle for minutes at a time.
Thankfully, she's also sleeping better. Naps have become longer and she's sleeping through the night fairly consistently. Drew and I fight over who gets to pick her up from her crib in the morning or after a nap. The smiles she gives will melt your heart! You'll see some of these big grins in these photos.

Pink Daisy

It was a warm spring day and Paige was looking especially cute so I thought I'd take a few pictures of her sporting one of the flower headbands I made for her. Drew thinks they're too large for her head but I think that's what makes them so adorable on her little noggin. Plus, I spent way too much time digging through the fake flowers at Hobby Lobby for them to go to waste. Well, as you can see, she wasn't too into the whole photo shoot idea since she's only looking into the camera for one of the photos. I was going to delete a bunch but it became somewhat comical. Drew's 33rd Birthday

Obviously I'm a little behind in posting but better late than never, right?! Drew turned the big 3-3 on April 19th and we celebrated with pizza, Natural Light beer, and a UFC fight (his choice, of course). I wrapped Paige up in her freshly sewn bow shirt as Drew's "gift." I'm thinking I can get at least a few holidays out of childbirth. Here are a few pictures. www.hamfamilyphoto.shutterfly.com
