Grandma's Visit - March 2010

A great picture of Paige and Grandma.

Grandma came to visit us for a few days and Paige had a great time going for rides in the wagon, playing with bubbles and sidewalk chalk, and showing Grandma her playgroup. Grandma took wonderful care of Paige while Drew and I enjoyed a date night with some friends. How nice to get out and know that she is in very capable hands! We can't wait for Grandma to come visit again!

Paige and Grandma drawing in the driveway. Paige has become quite the sidewalk chalk artist.

Paige thought the bubbles were hilarious. She laughed so hard she couldn't stand up!

Sharing a meal at playgroup.

Cuddling after bathtime.

Playing peek-a-boo in the laundry basket. Funny until she fell forward.

Daily Life

Just a few pictures from our daily life that I wanted to share.

One of Paige's favorite spots, buried in books. We recently began going to storytime at the library and she loves it!

Not feeling so well. Hanging on to the Tylenol bottle, hoping that helps.

Enjoying the sunshine on one of the first nice days of the year.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Taking her dog for a walk.

A side by side comparison of what 6 months can do. 10 months vs. 16 months. She's lost her rolls and grown pigtails!

Valentine's Day 2010

Paige and Drew before heading out for Daddy/Daughter Date Night

Yes, it has been too long since I've last posted photos. The time since Christmas has seemed to fly by and we didn't have any big events in the last couple of months so blogging got put on the back burner.

Anyway, Paige and Drew celebrated Valentine's Day by attending a Daddy/Daughter Date Night at the local Chick-Fil-A (Paige's favorite restaurant). Chick-Fil-A offered reservations, table-side service, music, photos, and a gift bag to take home. Drew and Paige made it a group date night with Paige's friends and their daddy's. Everyone had a great time and we were able to get some very cute pictures out of the deal. Added bonus, Mommy was able to go out to dinner with friends and enjoy uninterrupted conversation!

As for the true Valentine's Day, we had friends over that weekend for a fondue dinner at home. It was delicious! Paige loved the many Valentine's cards she received from family and friends and went around the house saying "happy" all day long. It made us happy too.
